The day began with a decision of the Stewards who, after a resignation of Vladimir Vitver (CZE) from completing the competition, corrected the results. Therefore, a leader of GSMP, Waldemar Kluza, upgraded to the third place of this round.
During the morning training that started the second day of 10th Limanowa Hill-Climb Race – Ostra Mountain Pass, Christian Merli (ITA, Osella FA 30 Zytek LRM) had again the best result among 104 drivers taking part in the event. The exceptional heat accompanied the struggle of 104 drivers who appeared on the start line of 5th Round of Polish Hill-Climb Championship – 10th Limanowa Hill-Climb Race – Ostra Mountain Pass. For drivers qualified in 9th Round of FIA EHC (FIA European Hill-Climb Challenge), the Saturday heats were trainings. The leader of FIA EHC classification in 2 category (competition), Christian Merli (ITA), was the fastest driver of the morning trainings. He overtook Guy Demuth (LUX) and the third driver in the second training, Fausto Bormolini (ITA).
From Friday, July 27 to Sunday, July 29, 10th Limanowa Hill-Climb Race – Ostra Mountain Pass is held.
Therefore, county road number K-1609 on the section Limanowa - Zalesie will be closed for the duration of the race.
From 27 July (Friday) from 16:00 to 28 July (Saturday) 6:00: road K1609 closed from the crossroad to Stara Wieś Wola ‘by the chapel’ (beginning of the lower service park) to the corssroad to ‘Zakopane’ estate and Słopnice (start).
